Scotian Homes receives 4 awards at the 2009 NSHBA Peak Awards

Scotian Homes was the proud recipient of four (4) awards at the Nova Scotia Home Builders Associations's annual Peak Awards Gala.   This annual gala is a coming together of professionals from the residential construction industry to celebrate the professionalism and support of NSHBA members.  

Scotian Homes were awarded in four categories:

Industry Supporter of the Year

Marketing Initiative

Marketing Excellence;  and

Most Energy Efficient New Home 2009!!

National Recognition

Scotian Homes is one of four finalists in the Green Home Category for the 2009 Canadian Home Builders Association's SAM Awards.  

The nominations are chosen from homes across Canada, and are judged on energy and water efficiency, resource efficiency, occupany health and comfort, planning and design effectiveness, value for cost and builder practices.  

We are very proud to be a finalist in this category as energy efficiency and resource management are key in our every day operations.  

This home was also named Most Energy Efficient by the Nova Scotia Home Builders Association.    Located at 54 Bona Crescent, this home is currently on the market and is available for viewing at any time by contacting our office. 

Scotian Homes is named 2008 Builder of the Year!!

Scotian Homes is very proud to have been named Builder of the Year by the Nova Scotia Home Builders at their annual Peak awards on November 28, 2008. 

The Peak Awards are judged by an independant panel of industry professionals and includes a specific set of criteria that must be met in order to be eligible for the prestigious awards.

The Builder of the Year award is a very prestigious award and Scotian Homes is extremely proud to have been named the Builder of the Year for 2008.   Scotian Homes was also named Builder of the Year in 2005.  

This award comes on the heels of being named Canada's R-2000 Builder of the Year by the Canadian Home Builders Association.  

Scotian Homes was awarded 7 awards in total at the awards ceremony, a testament to the hard work and commitment to providing our customers with quality, energy efficient homes.

Scotian Homes is Canada's R-2000 Builder of the Year

Scotian Homes is very proud to have been the recipient of Canada's R-2000 Builder of the Year for 2007 as presented by the Canadian Home Builders Association. This prestigious award was awarded to Scotian Homes for not only the quality of our R-2000 homes, but also for our commitment to the R-2000 program and what it exemplifies.   
 
This award came on the heels of our awards presented at the Peak Awards presented by the Nova Scotia Home Builder's Association, where Scotian Homes was presented with an award for Building the Most R-2000 Homes 2007.  

Both of these awards recognize excellence in our industry and this award is a symbol of our commitment to provide the best in energy efficient housing to our customers as well as our commitment to decreasing our impact in the Environment.

Scotian Homes are proud to have won many prestigious industry awards. Awards that reflect our innovative home designs, quality construction, R-2000 efficiency and master craftsmanship. Scotian Homes was selected to build Canada’s demonstration homes for the G-7 Summit in 1995 and duly recognized by the Canadian Home Builders Association. Since then, more honours have followed ... Builder of the Year ... Entrepreneur of the Year ... Renovator of the Year ... we were even awarded with the title of R-2000 Builder of the Decade ... but what we’re most proud of are letters from our satisfied customers.
