Scotian Homes is proud to state that as a result of these building practices, our homes saved 907 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions and saved $84,800.00 in total energy savings since 2006.

Every Scotian Homes is either a registered R-2000 home, or is enrolled in the EnerGuide for New Houses program.  

This provides the homeowner with a home that is tested and rated on the EnerGuide scale, complete with estimated energy savings and greenhouse gas emission savings - so the homeowner knows that by purchasing a home built to our specifications, they are not only saving themselves on operational costs year over year, but are also lessening their impact on the environment.    Protecting our earth, one home at a time.
